Path from Childhood

A big title for a big picture and big description.
Off and on on DA I've seen the memes where people take older drawings and see how much they've improved since then.
I've updated characters from when I was 12-13 throughout my art career. But imagine my surprise when I found drawings from when I was in 1st-3th grade.
Blew my mind is what it did.
Not because I was "amazed by how much I've improved". But how many of the smaller details were so impressive. I was impressed by the outfits and character designs. (So much so, I might even use the updated versions!) I was impressed by how I drew an anime-ish way without a formal introduction to anime.
I almost didn't post it because it felt so personal. But I decided to, if only to share it with the family members who have seen me draw since I was a teeny artist.
